Shannon is a highly gifted and highly motivated person whom God has blessed to be the right person, at the right time, to help us live into our plan to expand our Little Sprouts Preschool to a full time program.  She has many years of preschool experience both in the classroom, as a teacher, and as a director. Shannon is a person of deep faith and she values the power of Christian care and education for children of all ages. She is an active member at Grace Point Northwest Church in Enumclaw.  She looks forward to connecting with you and answering any questions you may have. 

I am a wife and mother to my son Aiden who attended Little Sprouts where I volunteered in his classroom once a week as the Handwriting Assistant. I was so impressed with the quality of education he received that I knew I had to be a part of this wonderful team. I have a bachelor’s degree in Youth Leadership and a master’s degree in Education. I spent a year teaching English to children in Moscow, Russia, and was a Kindergarten Teacher’s Assistant for one year at a private elementary school. After receiving my master’s degree, I spent 14 years in teaching and administration at the college level. I live in Sumner with my husband and son and feel so blessed to be a part of Little Sprouts.

Michelle joined Little Sprouts in 2015 as an assistant to our PreK class and has since joined our 3- & 4-year old class as well. Michelle also serves in the nursery at Faith Covenant Church. Lead Attendant in the Nursery. When she is not at the church, you can find her enjoying time with her Husband, Rick and their two children, Mallory & Rune. Michelle’s sweet spirit and calm manner make her a wonderful addition to our Little Sprouts team.

I am a mother of two elementary aged boys, Mark and Christian, and wife to my hard-working husband, Ian. I am currently enrolled in the Teachers College with Western Governors University earning my bachelor’s degree with a dual licensure in special education and elementary education. I have worked with children in some capacity since 2006. I started in pediatric dentistry and once I became pregnant with my oldest, I started nannying for friends and their coworkers. Once my oldest was enrolled in Little Sprouts, I got a job with Faith Covenant Church working in the nursery and that’s where I’ve been since 2016. I love children and I love that spark they get when something just clicks, and they learn something new. I am very excited for this new chapter and working with your kiddos in the classroom!

I am a mother to my adult son, Taylor, and have just added Nikki, my beautiful daughter-in-law to our family. I have been an educator for over 30 years, and have been with Little Sprouts since 2016. I love children and feel honored to be a part of their lives. My family is very close and I am lucky because we get to see each other often. Animals are a big part of my life and I enjoy spending time with mine and others.
