This support group is for those who have experienced the death of a loved one. The purpose is generally to create a safe place for people to do the work of mourning in a way that helps them begin to move toward reconciling their loss and finding continued meaning in life and living. Consider that this is a six-month commitment, for two meetings per month September to November and January to March. Meetings will be Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30pm. We will use the second editions of the books Understanding Your Grief and The Understanding Your Grief Journal, by Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D. Cost for both books is $28. We have copies for you to pick up at the first meeting.
